Early Life and Career

Merivel Man of His Time was born in 1929 in the small town of Sutton, Massachusetts. He was the youngest of four children, and his father was a minister and his mother a schoolteacher. Merivel grew up in a loving and supportive home, and he developed a strong sense of community and service from a young age.

After graduating from high school, Merivel attended Harvard University, where he studied history and political science. He was a bright and engaged student, and he quickly became involved in campus life. He was a member of the Harvard Glee Club, the Harvard Crimson, and the Harvard Model United Nations. He also served as president of the Harvard International Relations Club.

After graduating from Harvard, Merivel joined the United States Foreign Service. He served in a variety of diplomatic posts around the world, including in the Middle East, Africa, and Europe. He was a skilled diplomat, and he quickly rose through the ranks.

Philanthropy
